Get Involved

Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • PRAY! Prayer is essential to everything we do and we believe in a God who hears and answers prayer.
  • Teach or help in a Good News Club®. Free training is provided for learning how to teach dynamic Bible lessons, methods for teaching songs and memory verses, and more!
  • Host a 5-Day Club® in the summer! If you have a backyard, a living room or even a part in your neighborhood, you can host a 5-Day Club. Your part is to invite the children in your community and provide a snack. We will bring a team of trained teenagers to share the Gospel through Bible lessons, songs and games (a 5-Day Club lasts for about 1 ½ hours.)
  • Host a Party Club. These one-time events allow you to reach the children in your community through an hour and a half long evangelistic outreach. Often these events are centered around themes such as Christmas, Easter and Valentine's Day.
  • Share the Gospel using the Wordless Book at fairs. We have a booth at several fairs and festivals during the summer. The Wordless Book is a handy tool to use in sharing the Gospel with a child in about 10 minutes. Come spend a few hours reaching kids at the fair this summer! Free training is provided.
  • Help in our office! Periodically we need help in our CEF® office. We send out newsletters every 3 months, so come enjoy fellowship while folding and stuffing the newsletters.

How to Volunteer

To be a volunteer with Child Evangelism Fellowship you must complete the CEF application. We put the highest priority on the safety of the children in our care. Each volunteer represents CEF as an organization but most importantly, they represent the Lord. We want to be above reproach in every aspect of interacting with children. This is why it is so important that every volunteer is thoroughly screened and trained.

The CEF volunteer application includes: being in agreement with the CEF statement of faith, the Worker's Compliance Agreement, listen to and be in agreement with the CEF Child Protection Policy and pass a background check.
